Police and administration make it a goal to bust as many students and ruin as many students lives over dumb mistakes they made in high school.

The best teachers only teach high level classes. The average or below average classes only have bad teachers with the exception of a few. Literally everyone I've known that has attended Oak Ridge High school agrees on this subject. Students who are in high level classes get good teachers, everyone else is thrown to the lazy and very unknowledgeable teachers.

I personally know of no safety/health issues at the high school that have gone unaddressed.

Student cards to access outside doors, monitored access at front entrance, police presence all lend to feeling of security.

There's a lot of just weird stuff the admins do here and I actually don't know where to start when talking about it.

Again, bullying is a problem in the Oak Ridge School system that is not readily acknowledged, or when it is, there is nothing done about it. For instance, there were 2 known bullies reported by ourselves and 2 other families. Principle said he knew about them and there was supposed to be a zero-tolerance policy. Yet, these 2 bullies were never suspended or separated from the ones who were bullied.

The cafeteria food at Oak Ridge High School is pretty awful. The only redemption is the option of off campus lunch for juniors and seniors

I, personally, had a very hard time in high school. I felt very academically pressured and socially misfitted.

They are very reluctant to allow a student to change out of a class that they were not supposed to be in. Also, judgements of dress code vary depending on who the student is.
