Worst experience in my life I felt secure until I lost my home to fire the adjusters are rude and it’s been a nightmare I would not recommend State Farm I don’t feel my needs are being met and it’s poor customer service care

DO NOT USE STATE FARM. We had a house fire that was caused by a faulty plug . The fire marshal confirmed this, State Farm agreed. There was no doubt it was an uncontested claim. We lost our 4 fur babies and everything we own. State Farm SCREWED US on our policy, and cheaped out on EVERYTHING. We hired a lawyer, who netted us an additional 400k after a 2 year court battle. We just wanted what was owed as per our policy. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. All they cared about was saving themselves money

A nightmare to work with. Been with them since 1980. Only filled a few claims over the last 40 years. And light a crappy neighbor, and only hassled and trying to makeup excesses not to fully repair our home. I would choose any other option if you can. They love your premiums, but not helping you. Sad.

The worst insurance ! They try to force you to get repairs at their shop and when you don’t they take forever to come do an estimate . Then any time you call the reps will all say something different to you and then you can never reach the managers. It’s the worst place ever

I have a flood mitigation complain with State Farm. I was given the names of three flood mitigation companies by my local State Farm rep. I used one of these companies after a freeze event in Dec 2022. The recommended company (***** ***), came and did the flood mitigation. During this process, they did not do a complete dry out of the home. They refused to attempt to dry the crawl space. During the process, they also removed portions of the vapor barrier. As a 35 year customer, I filed a roof claim with State Farm. The first adjustor showed up as scheduled. After an issue with the inspection, I asked for a re-inspection and almost one month later I received a call from the new adjustor to schedule the re-inspection. After agreeing on the date and time, I contacted my contractor who was to meet the adjustor at our home to go over the inspection. The adjustor for the re-inspect never showed up or called. I have State Farm Car insurance since 1990 .Road side service is horrible. I was on hold for almost a half hour. I locked my keys in my car. A fellow State Farm insurance holder also called. She was placed on hold. She had to leave to go pick up her children from school. State Farm never checked on me. I ended up calling a friend to pick me up so I could get my extra key.

I've been a loyal customer for state farm over 10 years now and suddenly I get a call from them that they are dropping my insurance because my husband got 2 speeding tickets 4 years ago. When I asked them to explain why that mattered they couldn't give me an answer or even wanted me to try to correct whatever is going on. I will never use state farm ever again.

What are you up too or hiding State Farm Insurance! I was watching television channel 252- Lifetime and 260 WeHD both State Farm commercial comes on - all in Spanish and no sub titles in English anywhere. So is State Farm selling something different to the Latino community that they don’t want the majority of American English speaking citizens to know about?
