Too long wait time, unresponsive staff
Took my cat there just a few hours ago. Basically got charged $308 for a bandage & a cone that won’t stay on. My cat is having symptoms of feline hyperesthesia. Showed videos of her acting weird/not her normal self. She’s literally biting her tail off, blood everywhere, even in front of them. Was not taken seriously at all. The only thing Barry Reppart told me was “she’s gonna need her tail amputated” but no reasoning other than she’s “itchy” my cat was missing for 20 days. Called with some majors concerns after seeing 2 other vets , I was told I’m not allowed to speak with the owner/Vets they don’t take calls,That’s very concerning that the owners /vets don’t want to know what the Drs working for them are really doing.
Horrible on every account. My cat clearly had an infection but when they couldn't get a quick result, Dr. Randy suggested maybe he should be treated for a heart issue. The change in course failed miserably and my cat had to be put down, never previously having been sick in his brief 8-year life. I demanded the medical records and found they neglected to tell me the meds for the heart treatment caused immediate seizures. They kept this from me and kept administering the medication. Incredibly disappointed with the Emergency Care this past Sunday. So bad that I took Lucy elsewhere to get the help we needed for her. I called ahead, checked in with the security guard who wrote down my name and her name. After watching numerous other pets taken back before us I inquired and was told we had not checked in. What was the point of the security guard writing down our names? Finally taken back and left sitting another 2 hours. Total time waiting=3 hours. RecommendedNorthview animal clinic TERRIBLE!!!!! After living in North Ridgeville for 42 years we needed veterinary care for one of our dogs Louie. Our regular vet passed and made house calls to care for our animals horses, dogs and cats. So we made an appointment only to find out when we got there they scheduled it a week later but suggested we could use their emergency services for immediate attention at more than triple the cost. RecommendedA friend in local rescue verified you continue the shameful inhumane practice of DEBARKING dogs. Instead of advocating for dogs, you enable lazy heartless owners by severing the dogs’ vocal cords instead of insisting these people take responsibility for their pet and train them. Truly disgusted….and it shows a lack of empathy, good judgement, and animal advocacy that I insist on for peace of mind with my vet.
