Was charged $1200 for visit and xray and they say they had to put him to sleep for a throat surgery. Two weeks later he is still doing to same thing and they had the nerve to charge me another fee for something they didn’t fix in the first place. I would never recommend someone to this place wish I had read the reviews cause there is a lot of bad ones. $1200 for nothing being done they just want your money is all. Don’t care about you or your pets.
I’m writing this review as I’m sitting in the room waiting to still be seen by a vet.. after sitting here for FOUR AND A HALF HOURS (got here at 3:40pm). It took 2 hours for us to get back into a room from the lobby. The ONLY reason I came here was because my vet could not get us in until Thursday and our dog is throwing up, having diarrhea, and not eating after being sprayed directly in the face by a skunk. After being told I could make payments and put down $2k they tried to hold my friend and his medication I had already paid for before. I was also told I wouldn’t be charged an emergency fee again since I paid one the night before. My estimate was for 4000-4600. My final bill not only had that emergency fee but was for more than 5700. Once they finally released him to me they told me they closed my account to send to collections and to find somebody else to get his stitches removed. I have been going here since the late 90s. Always saw the same vet whom I liked very much. Yes the prices are high, but it became more difficult to see my preferred vet, and after he had to take leave, I was never able to get on his schedule. And my dog is now diabetic. My puppy has been seen here during normal business hours/regular visits and it was great. I took him in to the ER on Thursday 12/28 at midnight, after calling the emergency line to make a determination as to whether or not my puppy had a blockage after ingesting some toy stuffing. We waited an hour after arrival to be seen, (which I'm not even upset about, I understand there were more urgent emergencies). Horrible experience. If you are looking for a place that cares about your pet's health, go somewhere else because what they care about is only the bill and your money. And the staff is rude. You call for an emergency it only tells you how much the cost will be. And if you go three times, each time I change medications, more labs and tests and your pet gets worse and worse. The most important phrase IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY THEN LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE. after of course charging you more than $1,000.
