I have been going here since the late 90s. Always saw the same vet whom I liked very much. Yes the prices are high, but it became more difficult to see my preferred vet, and after he had to take leave, I was never able to get on his schedule. And my dog is now diabetic. My puppy has been seen here during normal business hours/regular visits and it was great. I took him in to the ER on Thursday 12/28 at midnight, after calling the emergency line to make a determination as to whether or not my puppy had a blockage after ingesting some toy stuffing. We waited an hour after arrival to be seen, (which I'm not even upset about, I understand there were more urgent emergencies). Horrible experience. If you are looking for a place that cares about your pet's health, go somewhere else because what they care about is only the bill and your money. And the staff is rude. You call for an emergency it only tells you how much the cost will be. And if you go three times, each time I change medications, more labs and tests and your pet gets worse and worse. The most important phrase IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY THEN LOOK FOR ANOTHER PLACE. after of course charging you more than $1,000.
On Thursday, October 26, 2023 we took our new puppy (11 wks old) to the Animal Clinic as he wasn't acting like himself. The Clinic initially assumed it was a blockage that would be easily treated. They suggested we leave him for the day for observation. They then shared he may have a kidney issue and told my wife there would be a 50% deposit of $1,000.00 (roughly$2,000.00 max). I don't even know where to start! My parents had to bring their cat JR in for an emergency euthanasia last night. They called first around 9:30pm to make sure they could be seen (as another clinic was too busy--but at least that clinic told my parents so). My parents arrived at the clinic around 9:50pm. I called in the morning and told them I thought my dog had an obstruction and needs an x-ray. I was told to come right in. 6 hours later I was told that the x-ray machine had been broken all day ands she can't be seen. they knew it was broken all day.
If I need yo board my dog, most kennels require the canine flu vaccine. We been trying to get it here for 18 months, and keep hearing the same BS story “it’s on back order”. Sorry, I don’t believe it. Maybe try ordering some from a manufacturer that make it? If they charge you more I’m certain you’ll have no problem passing it along to your clients. I’m about ready to leave since this seems to just fall on deaf ears.
When a contract is signed in a emergency for there pet to be treated.Thier owner is so scared and upset thinking thier pet may die. They don't read that contract, they're taking for granted that everything that is important will be told to them before they sign a contract. A friend experienced a very stressful situation.
