All staff are approachable and there is a fantastic amount of communication received in weekly newsletters. We have a great network of involved parents and a PTO that supports kids and families with multiple community events.

The administration is very well organized and plan the year incredibly well. Leadership is outstanding. We have really enjoyed K-2 thusfar!

We have been with the Academy for 3 years (K-2) and have had a great experience. I'm thankful for the Enrichment Program that is offered for Math and Reading to challenge those that are exceeding their grade level in these areas. Our family also loves the variety of "Specials" that are offered and the amount of exposure that the students get to other subjects other than what's just in the classroom. I would like to see the rules enforced heavily so that students would not be as disrespectful. I would also like to see the staff stay longer and can afford to live off of their paycheck.

I have been so impressed with The Academy. My son has only finished Kindergarten there but so far the curriculum is fantastic, the campus is very safe and secure and the culture of the school is wonderful. My son has received significant support from his teacher and administrators as needed and they have been very communicative, kind, and supportive.

My son is learning in an incredible and loving environment. He has been challenged and supported right to his level. The Academy is a wonderful community and we feel so fortunate to be a part of it! I am extremely pleased with the level of communication we had this year from teachers and administration. One of the things I like about The Academy is that you can take college classes during high school and it counts as a college credit. They also help you prepare for college and have you make an account on Naviance early for that way during your senior year you are prepared to apply to colleges on common app and use Naviance. The best experience is soccer the coach likes to prepare us before the season starts for we have more training and he is positive with us even when we are losing the game. The Academy of Charter Schools is an excellent school. One of its strengths is its sense of community among both students and staff. Everybody is extremely close-knit with each other since everyone has known everyone for years. At the Academy, the staff care for you and try their best to help you succeed. If you offer kindness and respect to staff, you will likely be met with leniency from them. Another strength of the Academy is its CE (Concurrent Enrollment) program. Great teachers. Have been here since the 5th grade and had a pretty good high school experience. I would recommend this place for people who want to be in the same school for many years. The community builds up very naturally and everyone is connected with everyone else. Overall great school!
