The Academy was a great fit for my daughter who attended from Pre-K through 12th grade. She graduated with 36 college credit hours all while playing sports, participating in clubs and creating a great group of friends. The support and guidance she received through the years helped propel her toward her goals and gain the tools necessary to be college ready.
My son has been at the Academy since 2nd grade and is now in 10th. He has had an amazing experience socially, academically and with the extracurriculars, in particular Theater and Choir. He is also currently accruing college credits while in high school. The school feels like a small community where everyone knows your name.
The Academy of charter schools has been wonderful for my family. My son has been going since first grade. The teachers have been excellent with their communication, their college readiness, individualizing areas of opportunity for growth for my son and just overall building a wonderful community. For him to learn to grow in a school that excels this way I am so thankful!
I appreciate the obvious planning that goes into their day-to-day activities. I like the teacher involvement and safety of the pick-up and drop-off process. Location is is also great! My kids can see the mountains from their classroom window! Teachers have been fabulous, communicative, and connected to students and their families.
Our son is starting kindergarten and attended pre-k at The Academy. While there seems to be a disconnect between pre-k and the rest of the school, it was still a great experience and we’re excited to continue our sons journey at the school!
I love the weekly news letter. It helps me stay informed. My kids also love the school. They have really grown since transferring last school year.
Best school I could have sent my kids to. They are excelling academically beacuse of the amazing foundation pre-k gave them. My son loves the food that is seved. Every single teacher i have met is amazing! This could not be a better school for my kids!
I think the school is making great progress under current leadership in continuing to build a culture of learning and implementation of life long skills. Additionally the facilities (athletic and learning) have been expanded and are being improved dramatically currently.
The further I develop as a student and get closer to graduation the more help my counselor and teachers have been at preparing me for the future. There’s been a struggle with keeping teachers or having good quality ones but other than that The Academy has been amazing.
