I liked the giving and generous nature of the school. This year we raised $36,000 for the poor community to have a better Christmas. I also liked the safety promoted at Padua. We never lock our lockers because they stress trust at our school. I also like how everyone knows everyone and we are greeted each morning by the principal and dean. It is a warm school with a lot of trust. If I had to say what I didn’t like it would be the grading scale. The grading scale is a seven point scale. So a 92% is a B+. It doesn’t match up w... read more
Through my 4 years of high school experience at Padua Franciscan High School, I was given so much opportunity to develop and excel in a number of ways. At Padua, I was in the MedTrack Program - a 4-year academic program designed to help students explore various medical careers. I was given the opportunity to go on a 40 hour externship. I chose Pharmacy, and I had such an amazing experience learning about the field of pharmacy that I decided that I wanted to go into Pharmacy in college. Therefore, Padua helped me prepare for ... read more
Everyone is very friendly and it's a wonderful environment to be in. I've learned so much over my past four years and have really grown as a person.
Padua is a great school with teachers that care and want the students to succeed. It is a hard academic curriculum that prepares the student for college.
The teachers truly care about their students. They have tutorials almost everyday and make themselves very accessible. The facilities are constantly being updated. The classrooms are improved each summer and new sections have been added (such as a new front and back lobby). The community is nice, many come to the football, basketball, and volleyball games and attend the dances. The volleyball team is ranked nationally and consistently wins awards. The lunches have been updated to a more of a buffet style, common to that of m... read more
The faculty and staff are very friendly and provide an overall positive environment. The atmosphere is very welcoming as well. The academics are superior and the faith-based school encourages students to share in their beliefs. The diversity within the school allows for new friendships to be made as well.
The teachers were excellent & easy to approach for questions. The campus ministry was exceptional. Loved participating in the retreat and helping lead them.
It's a great school. People who work there are nice and care about the students. They keep it clean and updated. I would say they need to add more foreign languages and that they need to get more diversity into the school. The drama department also is based on favoritism which needs to be changed as well.
Padua is a great college prep school and will get you where you want to go following your 4-year education. Padua offers extensive programs ranging from math and computer programs to their well known MedTrack program, which leads students into the majors and careers they want to fulfill. Padua's teachers are friendly and committed to helping students succeed. Not only is Padua a safe and friendly learning environment. Padua's Franciscan values and traditions light the hearts of students with faith and hope, making it one of ... read more
