Padua is such a great school overall for what I was looking for when applying to high schools. I wanted a school that challenged my abilities and wanted me to take hard classes so I could succeed in life. Padua does just that. I go to school with a drive to work hard because my teachers take their job seriously. Every one of my teachers truly care about where I go and who I become. Padua is my favorite school that I have been to. The staff are all very welcoming and considerate. The curriculum is also preparing me for college very well.
My overall experience as Padua has been a good one. They have gone out of their way to make concessions for my Crohn’s disease as well as be supportive of my mom’s terminal cancer diagnosis. They have not just help me with the schoolwork to get me caught up when I’ve been hospitalized but have gone out of their way to make sure that I am doing OK with everything I have going on.
My best experience in the school was definitely just knowing and interacting with my freshman HN Biology teacher. She is the most amazing and supportive teacher. The worst is the HN Chem teacher. He is the worst teacher in the school and was even threatened to be taken to court. He gave me trauma I will never forget. Yet the school has done nothing even though multiple students have reported him and parents have also reported him.
I really enjoyed my time at Padua Franciscan High School. It's a very welcoming environment and feels like a second home. I wish that some things with the academics were different. I had previously tried to take honors in math and sciences but have been held back from taking it due to the administration even though I have always been an A studennt in those courses.
Padua Franciscan is a college prep school that allows students to get a great education and prepped for college. The students can make connections with teachers and get involved in their school culture.

Padua Franciscan is an academically challenging school that emphasizes the values of community and service to its faculty and students. They have a wide variety of clubs and activities to help you get involved and meet new people. Not only am I on the volleyball team, but I'm also in the Astronomy club, Spanish Club, Orchestra, and the president of NHS. Advanced courses prepared me greatly for college. Sports programs are par with other top high schools. Cafeteria food is better than most high schools.
