Stay away worst experience of our life! Was fed a bunch of lies, had to fire him. Almost three weeks after we contacted him and house is STILL not listed! I agree with he other reviews communication is horrible! He doesn't return phone calls, no follow ups you have to call him to get answers and he always blames everyone else. He had a "guy" come do some work on the house and that now has to be redone because it was done wrong. Very unreliable and unproductive and gives REMAX a horrible name. Go with someone else beware.

Absolutely the worst. Missed our appointment then rushed over when I called to remind him, he had completely forgotten. Then we met to discuss property I wanted to sell. Mat spent most of the time trying to convince me that a 7% commission would be better for me that customary 6%. Then he left and said he woul get back to me the following day with a market analysis and a price to list at. Never heard from him again. Lots of good agent out there, this is not one of them. Never would recommend! No customer service! Won't return calls! Wham Bam, shows you 1 or 2 houses on first time out, if you don't make it a quick deal, he is done with you!

I am still waiting for an answer since September 2012! He convinced myself and my family that a friend of mine, that lives in Italy, could have bought a house in the West Virginia with a Mortgage, if he had open a LLC! After every single Bank denied a mortgage, he said that he would do some researches. He never called back! Very disappointed.

My wife and I used Matt to try and find our dream home. Communication is horrible. I echo the reviews of everyone else. He is hard to get in touch with and will only spend 2 minutes on the phone (and even then doesn't really hear what you have to say). While you are with him, the phone will ring and he will answer it - regardless of whether you are in the middle of a thought. NO PERSONAL SERVICE AT ALL. I emailed Matt because I was interested in a property. His initial response was very fast. He asked if I would like a showing or more details. I responded and requested any additional information he had and to set up a time for a showing. I provided my availability and received no further correspondence. I waited a couple days and followed up with a phone call. I left a message and he did not return my call. I'm not sure if it was because I have an out of state number or not. Either way I was very disappointed.

Matt took me and my boyfriend to look at homes and he would only take us to 2 of the ones we wanted to see then when we put an application down on a home we never heard back from him again! I emailed him and left messages and NO RESPONSE! The property that we had put an application on was amazing and the property manager of that property emailed me back and told me we lost out on the property because MATT never responded to them when they told him we had been accepted! UGH TERRIBLE!!!

Matt is a buyers realtor. He has great knowledge of the area. I hired him to sell my home, big mistake. No marketing, no follow up phone calls if there was a showing (only had 8 showings in a year) If the internet doesn't sell it for him, he tells you to drop the price. That is not the answer. I would only recommend him if you are looking to buy. Find someone else to sell your home, he isn't interested.
