Nice workmanship and very easy to work with. Great customer service and I definitely hire them next time when I need. The reason I give 4.5 to rate the value for money is the plumbing work is always too expensive compared to other home project.
The company owner and plumber Ron spent about an hour in my basement trying to determine what was making this loud, metallic clunking sound. It started after my new water heater was installed. He called the water heater company and did research before he came over trying to find a solution. He finally figured it out-yea Ron! When the heater was installed the copper tubing that brings in the cold water had inadvertently been misaligned or bent when it was reconnected. The work was done very quickly.But it came at a expense which did no compute with the time to do the job
Initial phone consultation with Ron was very detailed. Crew showed up on time, use foot coverings and were very professional, answering my questions and were willing to look at potential other jobs in the house. The only issue was that there was a parts mix-up, so one of the workers had to go fetch the correct parts mid-job. Overall I would recommend this company.

Ron, and all his crew were just wonderful, came as fast as they could, my water heater broke, had water all over. Fair price, I knew the going rate before they came. The installation was done well and they were prompt and professional.
Great job / great price. Ron was very professional, responded to my calls quickly. Had a sump replaced and a back-up water system installed. The work was done very well and efficiently. Would definitely recommend Shelby Mechanical. In addition, this work was done at the home of my parents - the guys were great dealing with my 85 year old dad. He spent the entire time in the basement "hovering", but somehow they made him feel like he was helping...made his day!
