Alan Wood is extremely professional and knowledgeable, yet so personable and friendly. Alan truly assists you through all aspects of purchasing and selling a home. I worked with Alan in the past and he was the only one we considered to list and buy with! We had very specific wants for our next home and Alan & Allison patiently showed us many homes, even short notice so that we could be the first ones in. We bought a home and listed ours which sold the first day! Alan stood our ground when the buyer asked for an unreasonable credit and things worked out as he expected. ALAN WORKED HARD TO SELL OUR HOME. THROUGH HIS ONLINE SERVICE IT WAS LOOKED AT BY MANY BUYERS. ALAN MADE WEEKLY UPDATES WITH US EVEN AFTER A PURCHASE OFFER WAS ACCEPTED UNTIL CLOSING, ALAN KNOWS THE BUSINESS AND HOW TO SELL A HOME. A WEEK AFTER OUR HOUSE WAS LISTED A SCAMMER HAD IT FOR RENT WHEN IT WAS NOT, ALAN IDENTIFIED THE SCAM AND TOOK CARE OF IT. Provided good information and was responsive. Was helpful in getting price set in the proper range. Also did a good job in getting photo listings done in the correct manner. Had multiple showings in a very short time with several offers. Overall the process went quite smooth and we were able to sell the property in a relatively short period of time. Based on our experience I would recommend using the Alan Wood team.
Alan is the best realtor we have ever dealt with this was the 7th home we have bought. He was always available to show us a home or talk with us. He is very professional and knowledgeable.
There is no question that Alan and his team worked very hard from the beginning to the end of the process. Alan sells properties quickly. He allows substantial seller input on sale prices and has good intuition on whether or not to accept buyer's offers. Easy going guy that is energetic and passionate about the business. Best realtor in Rochester.
What's not to like? He and his team got the job done. He met all of our needs, wishes and demands. I recommend him highly. There was a disconnect between the closing dates of the house we sold and the house we bought such that if it had happened that way my wife and I would have been exposed to the possibility of having to pay two mortgages. Alan was very knowledgeable and helpful and after a few minutes of discussion with him at an open house, pointed us to two more open houses, only one of which was listed with his firm. He was very engaging, customer friendly and not pushy at all. Were touring open houses then, but when we are going to hire an agent, we'll definitely consider him. No rating for Process Expertise or Negotiating Skills b/c they did not apply.
