I just got to my house in nikomas rented by horse and chaise, upon coming I found a combination lock on my closet and after calling 4 times still don't have a code to unlock. I hav even cleaning since this morning and called and emailed my agent and still no response. This company lies and steals services! My company did a cleaning job for them and they’re refusing to pay! Not very professional! They must be hard up for money since they can’t satisfy a $200 bill. I’d be weary of business dealings..

I was hoping to look and rent a home that they have listed and when they txt me all they said was that they show houses M-F 9-4. This must not be a reliable company since they will not work with you to schedule a later time. Not everyone has those kind of work hours. Some people have to work for a living. So if you plan to rent from this company please think twice cause if they do that now what will they be capable to do in the future while your renting from them.

Hello Tahcia, we appreciate the feedback. It has always been the policy to show property Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. We grant as much flexibility as we can within these guidelines. It is for the purpose of safety to our staff and to provide a work-life balance that doesn't always over extend our staff and operating hours. We wish you all the best in your rental search and would be happy to show you property within our standard operating hours.
I would warn people who rent from them to be very aware of their move out policies. After you give notice, you have to allow the place to be shown on only their schedule. Mon-FRi 9am-4pm. They require you pay for a professional cleaner, exterminator and floor cleaner. No exceptions. Had to contact contact multiple times to have my security deposit returned to me. They did not follow the timing policy for the refund to be returned.

In the lease agreement that you signed, as is with every lease agreement we execute for long term rentals, the tenant is responsible for professionally cleaning the property upon vacating. It was also in the Pet Addendum that the property is treated for fleas and ticks. These items were completed prior to your move-in and expected when you vacate. Unfortunately, Horse and Chaise Property Management Company never responded back when I asked them for help finding a place. We recently relocated from Oregon to Venice Florida. Luckily for me, I didn't solely ask for their help alone. Where they fell short (extremely short) Compass was quick to respond!
