Good. The food is good, the margaritas are great. I've had several dishes and haven't been disappointed yet. Recommend the brisket tacos and queso flameado.
Fantastic food and atmosphere in this unique family-owned restaurant. The margaritas are strong and tastey. My only complaint is the well-worn Mrs. Pac Man was out of order.
Not bad...but not really good.. Growing up in Grapevine has allowed me to taste and drink this establishment around a dozen times. Service is terrible. I think you need to be about 7 beers down before the Tex-Mex starts becoming anything special.
The margaritas were good. I thought the food is marginal. My wife enjoyed her tortilla soup and soft taco dinner. My daughter got the nachos. Oddly, they were made with American cheese! I prefer the Kolby-Cheddar mix of cheese on my nachos. The atmosphere is good and the wait staff was ok.

The only thing good here are the margaritas. I think they make them strong so people don't realize how bad the food is!
Esparza's has very good food. I think that people mainly don't like it because the wait is very long and There aren't many places to sit. But that says to me that people must like the food if it's so crowded and they are willing to wait an hour for a table. And they probably can't remember how delicious the food is the next day because they had so many margarita's the night before. But that's just my opinion.
Their queso is like ballpark-nacho cheese. Very strange. Cool environment though.
