Fun atmosphere and good food. Good food and salsa, the margaritas are pretty stout gotta love a place that only allows you 3 with out food

Owned by the same people who own Joe T. Garcia's in Ft. Worth, my opinion on the food is the same. Food ain't their bag... If you're in the mood for a pretty good margarita and a crowd then this is your kind of place. The clientle is from all around the DFW area. Come here to have a drink but pass on the food. 1 Thumb Up and 1 Thumb Down.

It has good points...the food isn't one of them. A Grapevine tradition. A popular place that is often very crowded, noisy and with a long wait - but the atmosphere is fun. A historic home with lots of personality that was once a funeral parlor back in the day! The patio is nice on a summer night and the happy hour is a good time. Now, saying that, the food is mediocre at best. the fast food franchise Taco Cabana is MUCH BETTER (seriously - much better). Very Authentic. Nice restaurant feel, with a great mexican flavor. I went on a warm summer night, so the deck outside was as full as the restaurant inside. Very good.

Gross food, worse atmosphere. The food is not good at all. I bet the food I used to make in high school home ec is better. The loud atmosphere could be your thing, but it's not mine. It's not a small place, but the tables are so cramped, I start to feel claustrophobic. The deafening hum of loud groups and TVs gives me a huge headache. The floors are also very slanted, which gives you a sort of seasick feeling that you do not want after you just ate. I will never eat there again.

Nice choice. Rare find of what feels like a real neighborhood mexican cantina. Love the Margaritas and the queso!! Did I mention that the Margaritas are good??

Have a couple of Margaritas first. Ask around you'll hear Esparza's is known as the place for Mexican food in Grapevine. But let's be honest...It's THE PLACE for Margarita's in Grapevine! The food is ok at best. The food does get better as the night goes on and as your margarita gets refilled. Their puffy tacos are good-and the rest of the food is average. Weekends are almost impossible to get a table. I definitely recommend Esparza's for Happy Hour.
