Esparza's has so much potential: local flavor and ambiance, nice patio, decent food. Want to sit in their big patio? No service. Go stand in line at the bar for food and drink. Help is not much help. Until Esparza's wants to make you feel welcomed and provide quality service I will pass.

Great food for the $$. You're out in the burb's and looking to eat? Do it here. It's solid, reasonably priced tex-mex with enough authentic mexican choices and flavor to keep anyone satisfied. (Grew up in this area and would recommend this mexican place over any other in the area) You get the tequila you pay for in the margarita's and then some, salsa is solid and it all taste fresh and home made. Also love the new interior, great atmosphere and people! Service is usually pretty solid as well.

Heck yeah!!! The fried shrimp lunch was deeelicioso!!! The salsa and chips were great. The guacmole was bland but easily doctored up. The highlight, however was the margarita. This is clearly the item they have perfected. It is thee perfect balance of strong and sweet. Go for the swirl which has a swirl of frozen sangria...yum!

It's pretty good. The thing about Esparza's that makes it cool is the atmosphere. It's in a historic house in downtown Grapevine. The margaritas are the strongest I've ever had without ordering a double. The food is standard tex mex fare, but the chili relleno is great. Everything else I've had was good. Yeah, you can go down the street to Uncle Julio's, but you're also not paying Uncle Julio's prices at Esparza's.

Decent. Went to Esparza's in Grapevine earlier this week. Dinner compadre had it recommended to them, so we checked it out. Started with a house margarita, which was cheap in price and flavor--yet potent. :-) Chips & salsa were good. Chips fresh, salsa was spicier than most in the area (which is fine by me, but be forewarned if you don't do spicy). Enjoyed it. Went with one of the two house specials: avocado enchiladas. My favorite place to eat mexican food! Hot sauce is great.chicken fajitas are delicious and generous. I love great mexican food and this is it. Go early on weekends. it gets packed.

Fantastic lunch as always!. My family and I had lunch there Saturday and it was fantastic! Their Chicken Tortilla Soup was awesome and had tons of chicken and vegetables, their fajitas were delicious and their Chile Relleno was the best I have ever had! Best Mexican I've Had in Texas. The dining room is colorfully decorated and typically filled with conversation and laughter. On my visit the waiter was quite insistent on which margarita to order, and having accepted his suggestion, it would be hard to go wrong. The menu includes an array of Tex-Mex dishes, but I opted for Tilapia tacos rather than any of the regular menu items. Will NOT go back. This place was so-so. Therefore, they did nothing that would interest me in going back with all the other Mexican places around. To say it how it is, this place has got way to comfortable. Service was poor, was not attentive, the server actually seemed drunk or hung over. Asked what we wanted right when we sat down, when we said we needed a minute, he gave us about 20, we were actually timing if he didn't come around in 5 more min, we were going to leave.
