I had an implant & bone graft done. My DDS of 20+ years said Omar was the best although it was inconvenient for me (coming from mid-town Toronto) - it was well worth the drive. Excellent care and service.
If you live on the Durham area and ever need a Periodontist....Dr Omar Usman is the best! I had work on my gums done yesterday morning ( I hope no one ever has to havr this done) and he himself called me at 10pm to see how I was. Not only that, his office called me this morning and asked if everything was okay and if I had any questions. Who does this anymore? Dr Usman and all of his staff are amazing!!! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. Awesome staff. Super clean environment. What more can you ask for? Dr. Usman is on top notch! He is very current with his profession. He teaches at the University of Toronto most Friday's too. University of Toronto won't hire just anyone. You better be the best in your field to teach in their dental school. Dr. Usman is exceptional. Don't many Dr.'s that will spend a lot of time with you answering all your questions. I had 2 teeth implants done at the same visit a few years back. After the referral was made I heard from them fairly quickly (within the week) and was in for a consultation within the month of the referral. Dr. Usman was very kind, and understanding of mine and my father's concerns and questions, he offered the option of putting me out for the procedure, which I refused. provided with 2 referrals from general dentist. Went with Dr Usman because he was also a professor or periodontics, so I figured he knew what he was doing. Was not looking forward to my graft in the least, but Dr. Usman made it super comfortable - very gentle hand and he explained things very well. I had some follow up questions, and he took his time with me. He called me twice after the procedure to make sure I was healing nicely. Top notch.
I saw Dr Usman for a consultation for graft surgery. I could not believe how incredibly kind, patient, and attentive he is. He spent an hour with me and explained all things to me in detail. Absolutely the highest quality of care from all his staff as well.
I have been a patient of Dr. Usman's for several years and have had two successful implants and some periodontal work done by him. I have nothing but praise for him and his talented associates and administrative staff. I would highly recommend.
Dr Usman is professional and compassionate in the care of his patients. I have had two separate treatments involving bone graft and tooth implants and did not experience any pain whatsoever. Dr Usman is a talented surgeon. Highly recommend.
