My first experience with Dr. Usman was in an emergency situation on a Saturday night. I was referred to Dr. Usman because my family dentist said he was the best. My dentist called Dr. Usman at his home, and although he was in the middle of a family event, he took the time to call me and came in to fix my issue right away. My daughter was referred to Dr. Usman by our regular dentist. His office has been great. He did not push for the gum grafts, he let her decide when she needed them. We have not felt pressured by him or his office to make it happen sooner than necessary. My daughter prefers to come here for her cleanings, then our regular dentists office.
Since becoming a patient of Dr. Usman I couldn't imagine going to another Dr...he is friendly, compassionate and I feel completely at ease when I'm in his chair...during my surgery he did quite a bit of extra work that I needed done at no charge to me...which I am extremely grateful...I could continue rambling about how good he is but until you meet him and his staff and sit in his chair these are just words...
Upon being told that I needed to have gum graft surgery, I was very nervous and hesitant. Thankfully I was referred to Dr. Usman. The surgery went very smoothly (both times I had it done) and the results are amazing! He is truly an artist at what he does! He is a kind, thoughtful and very considerate surgeon. I really appreciated the personal call following each surgery to check on me. I highly recommend Dr. Usman!
Dr. Usman is an exceptional dentist and periodontist. He makes you feel very comfortable and truly cares about what you, as a patient, need. He makes recommendations, that IMHO, are for the best interest of the patient, and not his bank account. He has magic hands, wherein after he is done, you don't feel unnecessary pain. I heard about Dr. Usman from a friend who lives in Durham. I drove in from Toronto to visit his office. I arrived 10 mins before my scheduled 9am appointment. I was called in at exactly 9am. Detail means a lot to me, and I appreciate punctuality very much. Sandra, did an in-depth examination of all my teeth beforehand and then proceeded to clean my teeth, explaining everything to me along the way. So professional. Over the past 7 years, I have used Dr. Usman's services for three grafts and two implants. His techniques are current, compassionate and tailored to each person’s needs. He talks to me respectfully, remembers items from my personal life to chat about and he has an amazing music selection to help me forget why I am there. Dr. Usman makes dental surgery go as smooth as it can. He takes the time to explain things to people, and has very good techniques...he just clearly knows his stuff and makes you, the patient, feel reassured and confident that he is going to take care of you. His staff are fun and cheerful, and they clearly like working where the work. My husband and I both went to Dr. Usman's office for a procedure and now for regular cleanings. We are both extremely happy with our experience. Dr. Usman is unlike any other dentist I have come across - he is kind, gentle, professional and takes the time to explain procedures and go through all the options available. Although we are moving further east, we are still going to stick with Dr. Usman because he takes such good care of us.
