Dr. Hugh reviewed my records with me yesterday at my request prior to a treatment plan for a periodontal cleaning I’d never encountered. He was thorough, showing X-rays and explaining the problem areas so that I understood why the treatment was necessary. Dr. Hawkins and his staff are top notch. They saw me when I was not their patient and helped me in my desperate time of need. Needless to say, I am a patient for life now. I can say that Dr. H does a GREAT job at explaining what he is doing and why. He is always comforting and assures that the patient is doing OK during any procedure. If you are looking for a dentist, I assure you that you will be very pleased with him. His staff is absolutely incredible as well, super friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable.
Dr. Hawkins and his staff have been our families dentist office for over 10 years now. Besides semi-annual cleanings we have had amalgams, crowns root canal, implant, extractions. Dr. Hawkins has a state of the art office and lab doing all crown fabrication work on sight. Advanced dental work can be done in one or two visits. Cleanings are done with the latest ultrasonic equipment. The staff is courteous and professional. The office is modern and hygienically spotless. All COVID protocols were strictly observed

I am what you would call a difficult patient. Dr Hugh handles my anxiety as well as my dental needs. I highly recommend him.
Dr Hawkins has been my dentist for 6 or so years, he always does an excellent job. I went to him a few days ago for tooth pain and he could not decide what the problem was so he asked me to get a second opinion which I am waiting to get. I appreciate the fact that he did not just jump to expensive dental work. I have an allergy to preservatives as well and he is always careful to check that.
