The other night, at about 2 in the morning, I noticed my 15-year-old small dog drooling, pacing, shaking, and looking extremely high. He had vomited his food up with leaves in it. I realized he must have gotten Into some kind of toxin in the yard when he went outside. I took him to Northview Animal Hospital where they gave him fluids and a couple injections and instructions for home. He was much better by the time we left there. The cost was less than I expected. The staff and the veterinarian were very compassionate and caring when we took our 13 yr old dog last week as an emergency....Sadly she had Tobe put to sleep and everyone was very caring.
in 1 week we had 2 emergency visits... Adult cat with broken leg and 5 stray kittens very sick... they are all doing great!

The staff at Animal Clinic Northview are compassionate, professional, and extremely skilled. We have been clients over the years with our family's dogs. They have always treated our pets like their own. Absolutely wonderful people that work here. Maybe more expensive than other vets, but you pay for the experience of the staff and vets, the modern and beautiful facilities, and the overall excellent care of your pet. They really love every dog and cat that comes in their doors.
All the doctors I dealt with did a good job with my dog regardless of experience level. My dog was treated successfully for pyometra over Labor Day with Dr. Cashman. The vet tech was great with my dog too in taking blood and doing xrays. My dog did not come back upset. They answered all my questions respectfully and I was never rushed through. I also liked they had bios of each vet online, unlike other hospitals who pick and choose which doctors to highlight on their site. I also like they are not corporate owned because my... read more
