After 25+ years as a client it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. Oh course unless you want to pay emergency prices. My dog is almost 14 years old with a probable UTI.....nothing can be done. Great customer service
Took both my dogs to be looked at and they did nothing but pump money out of us. 1 of my dogs had passed away...my other dog had gotten worse! Some reviews I have read had a good experience with them...NOT US!
Long story short, we paid over $500 just to be lied to. We thought our dog's toe may have to be amputated. They said our dogs xrays of his chest were clear and that the amputation would be a little over $1200......$1200 to amputate a TOE. We took our dog to get a second opinion on the amputation today. One, the toe is not infected, it's a tumor, and two, the chest xrays were not clear. Our dog has several legions in his lungs and they suspect lung cancer. If you have an emergency with your pet, be prepared to hit the floor with their bill. They gave me an estimate for my car for one night with no surgery or diagnosis that was $5500, which included pricing of $640 for one night of antibiotics for a 9 pound cat. And when you can’t sign for almost 6 grand for one night, they try to make you feel like the worst person in the world. The only saving grace at this place was Michelle. She was amazing.
The staff was more than proficient, but the doctor had poor bedside manner and she didn’t speak except to say her name and left the room w/o saying goodbye. No follow up offered, no day or report, no diagnosis, the Vet said, she didn’t know what was wrong. She offered X-rays and bloodwork, a steroid shot and pills. What are you giving a steroid shot for?? I’m so glad I went somewhere else
I was there for 61/2 hours. 2 hours went by without anyone coming in to check on us. When it came time for discharge, no doctor in sight and kept waiting and waiting and waiting. Not one person came in to see if everything was ok. I finally left the room and had to have the receptionist see what was going on. Busy or not, which by that time it was not busy someone should’ve came in. Never treated like that in a human hospital!!! when it comes to vet care I may recommend them....but when it comes to personal care I'm highly upset !!! something soooooooo personal as my pet (my son) passing and having him cremated was difficult enough ....but when they called for us to pick up his ashes they was caring sounded like a conversation read off a script ....and his name spelled wrong on his box...they asked 3 times the spelling of my name and his AND ITS WRONG ON HIS URN BOX !!!!! My dog Red was on vet medin. I went in to refill the prescription and I tell me u do not have it go find it on line. My Red died because I could not get it in time. I will never come back
RecommendedDecember 23rd, I met the staff at Northview at the worst possible time. My companion of 11 1/2 years Fozzie was in liver failure and already had four seizures in less than twelve hours. He had seen his vet that morning, at Murray Ridge and I was told to keep an eye on him and they would see us the following Monday.
