Alan was very knowledgeable and helpful and after a few minutes of discussion with him at an open house, pointed us to two more open houses, only one of which was listed with his firm. He was very engaging, customer friendly and not pushy at all. Were touring open houses then, but when we are going to hire an agent, we'll definitely consider him. No rating for Process Expertise or Negotiating Skills b/c they did not apply.

Alan and his team (Allison & Kristen) did an excellent job with my home sale. They found a client within the first week of my home being for sale and an offer was negotiated / accepted shortly thereafter. These buyers subsequently backed out. Within 2 weeks of that, we had a second buyer who we negotiated and accepted an offer from. Unfortunately that offer fell through as well. In 2010 I used Alan for selling and buying a new home. I found Alan to be extremely knowledgeable of the market. After trying to sell my home on my own, Alan ended up listing it and selling it quickly. He always followed through on everything and he kept me informed through out the whole process of the selling of my home. What was nice is that he has a team of associates that worked for me. Kristen was always available if I needed anything. I highly recommend Alan and his team!!

After an almost 2-month delay in the closing on the sale of our house, Alan was unresponsive and dismissive when we would try to contact him questioning the delay. He also recommended an affiliate real estate attorney that ended up doubling the cost of our land survey listed in his itemized invoice.

Alan Wood has helped us buy and sell 3 homes including a nightmare of a short sale/foreclosure that we were about to give up on. Alan's team would not give up; however, and somehow got it to close on time and saved us another 10k off the already reduced price. I have recommended and will continue to recommend him and his team to other people looking to buy or sell.
