Since we will be moving out soon, I'm making a review of Stones River Property Management and letting people know to not rent from them. We moved into this home in Shelbyville on November 8th of last year. On our first look through the home, it seemed fine, just old and we were aware it hadn't had any renters since having some renovations done. We liked that it was an old home with charm and quirks. Unprofessional company… horrible people to work with a bunch of liars and they will steal your money don’t do any business with this company Check the reviews on yelp
Turn and run away! We lost $6k dollars and are homeless with 3 kids and 2 ESA dogs because of their lies and neglect of the property! Mold and mildew, cat urine , holes , floors curled up with so much nasty underneath. Run away please don’t let them do to you what they did to us.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. If I could give this review negative stars, I most definitely would. I’ve never witnessed such poor disorganization and bad management from an apartment complex. I was a resident last year, and after moving out, I was hit with an outstanding balance of about 2,000 dollars! Funny thing is when I saw the itemized list of the alleged damages, majority of them were already there when I moved in, from the flood, and/or never got fixed by maintenance.
