I've been going to this school for 7 1/2 years, and it's been amazing. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful, and the classes are informative. Going here has really helped me in my education experience throughout my elementary, middle school, and high school years. Now, because of this school, I have learned so much and am on track to graduate high school with my associates degree. STEM is a fantastic school that challenges my children while teaching them how to become future leaders. The teachers and staff have created a kind culture like no other. They stand behind and model what it means to “work hard and be nice.” We are so fortunate to have this school in Northern Idaho.

As a person with more physical interests I was not good at all of the computer technology that they are teaching. However, I have learned many tricks for fixing computers and understanding the general works of a computer or it's programming. Although I was not the best fit, I stayed strong and worked hard to understand and learn everything I can. The school is preparing children for the future and what may develop and evolve over time.

I think this school has potential, I really do. Their doing a good thing with getting student ready for college. It just seems like they don't care about their student mental health. Not every student is the same and I think that's something they can't grasp quite yet.

The teachers were, for the most part, very helpful and encouraging of your success. If you are a driven student and you want to achieve great things, this is the school for you. There is a dress code, but it is not very restrictive. The teachers are quite strict, so following the rules is your best call.

I adore this school. Having come from many others, I can confidently say this is the best one yet. I've never had so many opportunities in my life. You'll read a lot of reviews that say STEM is too hard, or they expect too much. The students writing these reviews are usually the ones who leave, and that's because STEM is not a school for slackers. I think North Idaho STEM Charter Academy (NISCA) is an amazing school! They specialize in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I currently want to major in some type of science when I get to college, which is why NISCA is extremely beneficial to me and my future. The teachers are very helpful and since it is a smaller school, there is more one-on-one time with the teachers for extra help.
