Pretty much a school made to prepare students for college. This it does well. If your interested in sports though, this is not the school for you. Otherwise a great school, never got jumped.

I have been attending North Idaho Stem Charter Academy since it was first opened in 2012. I have watched the school grow and mature throughout its existence, and I have been around for all of the major investments and upgrades throughout our history. This school has prepared me for college more then I or my parents thought was possible, and most graduates including myself expect to have their associates degree when the graduate high school. The teachers are excellent, the education is worth it, and the benefits pave your future. The curriculum is challenging to help weed out the weak and uninspired students. The choir director is my favorite and has given me opportunities I never would have gotten.

I'm a recent alumni who went to North Idaho STEM Charter Academy since 4th grade, and I can honestly say I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. The school takes itself seriously when it comes to academics, employing a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for the real world and higher level classes, as well as gives them the knowledge they need to succeed in college or the workforce. I've been going to this school for 7 1/2 years, and it's been amazing. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful, and the classes are informative. Going here has really helped me in my education experience throughout my elementary, middle school, and high school years. Now, because of this school, I have learned so much and am on track to graduate high school with my associates degree. STEM is a fantastic school that challenges my children while teaching them how to become future leaders. The teachers and staff have created a kind culture like no other. They stand behind and model what it means to “work hard and be nice.” We are so fortunate to have this school in Northern Idaho.

As a person with more physical interests I was not good at all of the computer technology that they are teaching. However, I have learned many tricks for fixing computers and understanding the general works of a computer or it's programming. Although I was not the best fit, I stayed strong and worked hard to understand and learn everything I can. The school is preparing children for the future and what may develop and evolve over time.

I think this school has potential, I really do. Their doing a good thing with getting student ready for college. It just seems like they don't care about their student mental health. Not every student is the same and I think that's something they can't grasp quite yet.
