I filled an auto claim on Oct 5 2021 after hitting a deer, the body shop ( caliber collision a state farm preferred body shop ) was unable to get my vehicle in until the week of Oct 19,2021. I dropped my car off on the 19th of Oct, 2 days later I started receiving text messages from the body shop with a estimated date of completion of Nov 18 2021. Worst insurance company ever... been with Stare Farm for over 10 years. Only insurance since I started driving. And they where fantastic until 7/19/21 I was rammed by another driver intentionaly. Called state farm let them know. Nothing it's been over 6 months and nothing. Had a call from me every month and consistently told they can't help me. Treat me like I don't pay them for insurance. I have PIP I pay for PIP and I'm not allowed to use the benefits after an accident.
I was told by the agent at the Mike Orn state farm agency in ******* ********..when I signed up...that if I had an interlock in my car with a valid driver's license (I have both) that getting coverage was no problem....I paid them on time for 4 months...When I called to get my roadside assistance I was told that I had been canceled for2 months...no idea....they took my payments every month and the app said I was currently active...I'm disgusted with the incompetence of this agency....EPIC FAIL
I've been a customer of State Farm Insurance for over 35 years. Never an issue until you need them. Not "Good Neighbor's". Christmas night 2021. 8:02 pm Flat tire on one of America's most dangerous roads. *** ** ** ****** ********* ****. Horrible reaction time to claims with outcome. Had accident with camper unit 8/29/21. Brought to dealer to be fixed. Still 12/31/21, State Farm has failed to respond to the claim report and estimate for the correction of my camper unit. Gander RV is not innocent either but they have done all they can by sending the information to State Farm NUMEROUS times (8 to be exact). After Our "Derecho" in 2020 (Aug), State Farm has Not been the "Good Neighbor " that they Claim. I have had to fight with them on Everything just to get them to Even send a Claims Adjuster to my Property. They used the Term "Depreciation" on almost everything that sustained damage, from my 6' privacy fence, to my Decks. I purchased a new home September 30th 2021 and chose State Farm as my homeowners insurance. At the time I was very satisfied with my coverage however; on 10/19/2021 I came home to my bedroom, hall, daughters room and hall bathroom flooded. My new carpet had only been installed for 5 days. We were not even completely unpacked. I had to file a homeowners insurance claim after only 20 days in our house . All our walls and flooring had to be pulled out and dried out. State Farm is the worst comp to go with! Tree went through my roof and caused severe damage causing support beams to go through my roof !! 3 different contractors gave me estimates over 30,000 they gave me 10k $1300 was for damaged computer when beam shot up 2nd floor room from first floor $2000 was my deductible that leaves $7700 their adjuster are inexperienced or just simple crooks at this time i have been paying out of pocket because its been 5 months and StateFarm cant get their things together!!
