Company refused to cover my rental car beyond 24 days (current policy) despite the unprecedented circumstances of a parts shortage. They also refused to total car, but could not prove the numerical calculations they used to determine that the car (waiting on a part 6+ months & counting) was not worth being declared totaled. After being a loyal customer for 8 years, I was very disappointed in my experience with my agent. I was in an accident where a drunk driver ran a stop sign and totaled can’t new car. I was without a car for 3 months until I finally received a settlement. I had to argue for weeks until I received a fair settlement for what my car was actually worth in the current market. I would not recommend them! I filed a claim 2 months ago on my roof, and I have a roofer working with me . They put a tarp on my roof which I had to pay out of pocket $300 because have interior damage too. The claim was $14 over the deductible, The roofer tried to repair the roof and he said it was repairable. Reopened the claim , they sent a 3rd party to inspect the roof and the roofer was there to talk to him , he took a 3 foot sample shingle to be inspected, And my new claim is $1300 above my deductible which I am furious... read more

19 % auto premium rate increase. Agent was unable to explain the rate increase. Attempted many times thru the day to get someone on the phone at the *********** **office to explain this to me but there is no direct contact with anyone from the cooperate level. I will not waste my agent's time as he was not involved with the rate increase. this is a slap in the face when you get no advance written explanation to why the rate is higher. State Farm is a horrible insurance company and a fraud . They get your money , but when you have a claim , they refuse to pay . DO NOT USE THEM !

State farm is not about customers satisfaction, they **** as a company, and all of their agents ****, we've been going back and forth for 6 months to do a claim on our house and its Still not done! DO NOT USE STATE FARM!

After my car was totaled, I was waiting to get my check from my car. They sent me some paperwork to fill out, to release my car and get my money back after they take the car. I filled out everything that was sent to me. After a few weeks where my money never came I reached out to them and they informed me that they forgot to send me a "power of attorney" for me to fill out. State Farm is a joke when it come to Home Owners Insurance claims. IF you want to be assured your policy will pay for water pipes or any home damage from water damage then STATE FARM IS NOT FOR YOU. After 20 years of paying for their home owners policy ( 20k invested) they denied my home owners claim for a slow leak and ANY home damage to walls, etc. 15K for plumbing repairs and another 15K for flooring and walls from a "slow leak" was not in their interest to insure.
