Worst Customer Service Ever! I had to file a claim because my car was hit. It was not my fault yet State Farm treats customers horrible! Complete lack of communication then they would want me to jump as they snapped their finger to respond to their demands immediately. I was hung up on multiple times. December 30, 2022 a rock hit my sunroof and shattered it. Today is January 25, 2023. The car has been fixed but State Farm is refusing to pay the estimate that was submitted. I have called numerous times to the claim center and each time they tell me it will be 2-5 longer. I am beyond frustrated. Repair shop will not release the car until State Farm pays up!! I would not recommend State Farm. I’m considering cancelling every policy with them.
I been with statefarm for 30yrs i have a roof issue and the adjuster that was sent out was rude and disrespectful. Told me he didnt know what caused issue and statefarm was not gonna cover it. When i asked for a explanation he told me it coulda been bird crap (really) so whats a person to do i feel like i been kicked to the curb is this what like a good neighbor statefarm isnt there.
I don't know what happened to this insurance, they used to be good. My experience when selling our property trying to get our balance for a prepaid policy has been a nightmare. The insurance agent is blaming the insurance and when I call directly they don't want to know anything about it. I am not sure who is lying but I should never have to wonder about that. They’re no good, they don’t help you when you receive damages to your property they try to lowball you the best way they can. I didn’t realize how horrible they were until I received damages to my property and it’s been 5 months and I’m still waiting to get my damages repaired. I get a call jan 25,2023 stating they won’t cover the rot from the damage that occurred august 03,2022 due to them waiting so long to get things repaired so the wood is rotting away because of constant rain and snow.
We have had them for 30+ years no claims. When we had a small comprehensive for a smashed headlight it was frustrating and confusing to find out about their used part policy. Claims was very rude and condescending about the out of pocket we had to pay. Then we needed supplemental money to fix an electrical issue on dashboard related to the headlight circuit. They closed our claim and said it was not related because the repair shop indicated, and the shop/dealership said there was a recall on that part. THEY lied about it. Ou... read more

We have been with State Farm for home, car, and personal items for over 51 years. We began with State Farm in Il. with car insurance in 1972 and homeowners since 1979. We moved to ** in 1991 and kept all our insurance with them. We have never had a homeowners claim until we had roof and wind damage occurring January 16, 2022, after the storm named IONA.
