Jan was our agent on the purchase of a home in Buchanan. Even after we located the home we thought we were interested in she took us to see a number of other comparable properties to make sure we were making the best choice for us. We were living in Texas at the time of purchase and Jan took care of everything for us. Even after the purchase Jan has been a great resource for recommending local businesses or people to contact about maintaining the home and repairs. I would highly recommend Jan to serve as your realtor.

I would recommend Jan to anyone looking to purchase their dream home. She is honest and dependable. She worked tirelessly to find my husband and I our perfect lake house (which wasn't easy because I wanted privacy and he wanted frontage). Jan was available whenever we had questions or concerns and even helped us find paperwork we needed concerning our home purchase years after we bought it. Jan will be our realtor if we ever decide to sell our current home and purchase a new one.

Jan was very professional and helpful during our entire home purchase process. Being from out of town, I did not entirely know the neighborhood well. However, with Jan's help, In just a short amount of time, we found a beautiful home and we were able to put an offer on it. It was shortly accepted with the help of Jan! It was such a great and simple process. Jan was very responsive and she was always there when I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is purchasing a new home!

Jan is one of the hardest working people I know. Jan has mowed grass for people shoveled their driveway. Helped with cleaning. Even done small repairs. If it's something she can't do she will recommend someone. There is no other realtor that I know that would go above and beyond like Jan does.

Jan helped us purchase a home in 2007 and then again in 2014. She made sure that the process went as smoothly as possible each time. Our purchase in 2014 was of a foreclosured home, and Jan helped us negotiate with the seller/bank on various issues that came up during the sale. Jan also helped us sell homes in 2007 and 2014. Jan helped us price our homes to maximize the sale price while also selling each house very quickly. We have and will continue to recommend Jan to other buyers and sellers.

We have utilized the skills of Jan Jacobs, of Berrien Properties, in BOTH the purchase of our home in Three Oaks, MI and the sale of a lot in the Longmeadow subdivision in Niles, Michigan.
