I had the unfortunate luck of being without heat on a Sunday and called Crossfield. Crossfield told me the service call would be $129 which was a premium they charged on a Sunday. I said, ok, as I had no heat in February. After a quick 5 min evaluation, the repairman said it was the igniter and charged me $235 for the part. I knew it was highway robbery, but I had already paid $129 for the service call. I did question the cost for the part, but was assured that was market price for a Trane XR90 igniter.
