In great shape although the pin placements were on the "funky" side. Chardonnay was in excellent shape. Fairways nicely mowed, greens quick but well maintained and without bald spots. The pin placements were all on rises or slopes with made for lots of putts slipping by on the downslope. All in all a good course.
Love the 16th hole! So exhilarating to tee off from a high elevation, watch the ball soar down to the green. An easy par. Chardonnay is a challenging and fun course. You never know what lies around the corner as you play your way around the course. Its many elevations offers an opportunity to practice your "Course Management" skills.
One of the better courses in Napa area Good driving range hitting off grass, thank you. Fairways maintained well. Greens in good condition, though a bit slower than used to playing. Good challenge, some fun holes, scenic. Definitely worth playing.
Greens are best in area except for being cold it was a wonderful round of golf, I look forward to playing again...jb
Nvgolf Awesome it's all good keep playing more xxxxxxxxxxx
Best Course for the Green The grass was impeccable and the tee boxes were flat. The course design is very fun and challenging, with room for birdies galore if you have the accuracy. The staff was not only the friendliest staff of any golf course, but maybe some of the friendliest people I have ever met.
overall a good experience. Facilities are in good condition, staff was friendly, carts in good condition. Golf Course in good shape with scenic views, bunkers could use more sand, cart paths could use some repair. play was good, not crowded. overall a pleasant experience.
No Marshals after noon. Play was too slow Stellar course. Great memorable holes, but it was painful to play in the 97 degree heat. If you play, pay the extra to get out early. You can not enjoy golf when it takes 5hrs and 45 minutes to get around the course.
Great early morning round I went out as a single and was the first one off on an unseasonably blustery and cold June morning. The lively weather made the course much more difficult (bogeys felt like pars, pars like birdies), but it also enhanced its natural beauty. I was able to finish my round at 9:02, in exactly 2 hrs 40 minutes. I love this course. Challenging but not crazy-hard, interesting but not tricky. The greens are very challenging, and the par-3's are especially tough but fun.
