Thank goodness for volunteer parents otherwise this school would barely have any clubs or sports. Consistently lower ACT scores in Math and Science compared to English and Reading - upper school teachers in English and History are a couple of the teachers that have advanced degrees in the class they teach. Administration seems defensive of their favorite teachers. Small enrollment but still cramped hallways, stairways, and sometimes classrooms with class size well above the advertised "low" student to teacher ratio. Lots of ... read more

I have chosen to take my student elsewhere for a better experience that isn't so focused on speaking in tongues like that church is. The school leadership is the church leadership and much of the staff is part of the same small church.

I heard about VFCA and I decided to look into it a little more. The lack of security around a school surrounded by public roads and trash was alarming to me. Athletic practices right next to the road in the back have no security and anyone can drive or walk right by close to the students. I saw people from the neighborhood walking their pets on the property. The trash along the back road is disgusting and has inappropriate things I would never want my children to see.
