All three of our children attend VFCA. This is our second year and we couldn’t be happier here! We’ve experienced their care & vigilance concerning academics & their dedication to each child. I feel that they’ve gone out of their way to pursue what’s best for my kids. We’ve really appreciated the diversity of race and class at this school compared to others we’ve been to. This is our third year at Valley Fellowship Christian Academy, and we are continually impressed with the commitment of teachers and administration to partner with our family and children. One thing we were looking for in a school besides a smaller more intimate setting was the sparing use of screen time in the classroom. Our family has been actively involved at VFCA for 7 years. I absolutely love knowing that my children are in an environment where they are being taught a biblical worldview, being prayed for and loved. My kids are excelling academically, they are involved in sports and clubs, but most importantly they are being taught in an environment that welcomes the Holy Spirit!

I have partnered with VFCA to educate my children for over 10 years. They provide a solid (and accredited) academic program with Biblically sound spiritual integration as well as a extracurricular activities that have proven beneficial for my children's mental, spiritual, and physical growth. My children have been at LVA and VFCA for more than 10 years. They receive a wonderful Christ-centered education in an accredited school with excellent faculty and administration. We absolutely love VFCA!

If I had to pick a historical figure to bring back from the dead it would be Maya Angelou. When I first heard about Angelou I never really considered or knew about the impact she had on the world until I heard her words.When I heard about her death in 2015, I was devastated. The school is going through a rapid period of growth, and with that, many problems are rising (such as newly arriving faculty that are abysmal at their job, and growing pains caused by many students coming and going). Summarized, once the school begins to settle or stagnate, I feel the quality of our school will start to rise. As of right now, our academics are superb, and the prep for college is very noteworthy. Thank goodness for volunteer parents otherwise this school would barely have any clubs or sports. Consistently lower ACT scores in Math and Science compared to English and Reading - upper school teachers in English and History are a couple of the teachers that have advanced degrees in the class they teach. Administration seems defensive of their favorite teachers. Small enrollment but still cramped hallways, stairways, and sometimes classrooms with class size well above the advertised "low" student to teacher ratio. Lots of ... read more
