Virtues are the base of social life. Teachers teach the virtues whole heartedly and the students learn to live life with respect and responsibility for not only their community but for the global aspect of virtuous life.
An AMAZING school family, St. Mary's is a faith-filled community that educates my children with Christian virtues, outstanding academics, and a heart for serving others. My four children are thriving and growing thanks to their excellent teachers (7 of them have Master's degrees!) - and the NEW CLASSICAL academic program is bringing a depth of knowledge and critical thinking to my kids that is rare in schools today! St. Mary's is centered on Christ, and builds wise and virtuous children!
St. Mary's Catholic School's impeccable reputation lead my family and I to the school. The love and dedication that is poured upon our students is profoundly indication in any encounter with our students, from PK3 - 8th grade. I am very proud and thankful to be apart of such a wonderful family and community.
I teach third grade at St. Mary's Catholic School in Taylor. St. Mary's Catholic School's classical education curriculum teaches children to love what is beautifully true. Therefore, our children are faithful to the Lord, joyful, curious, and waiting to be filled with wonder.
Terrible teachers a racism is very problematic in this school, teachers miss treat students for their race if you arent Caucasian go ahead and get your student unenrolled they are being mistreated and discriminated

The administration seemed to be warm at first but quickly turned hostile and aggressive when concerns were raised by my husband and I. The academic quality is extremely poor, which prompted us to check the third grade teacher’s credentials, she is uncertifie... read more
St. Mary's definitely needs to improve facilities, teacher morale, and administrative organization. The focus seems to be on the high school, and the lower school really gets left behind. There is no special education department. If your child needs dyslexia services, you will be charged monthly per child for those services. When we began at SMCS, service was offered free of charge. The upper school teachers rarely monitor their students during passing, so lower school teachers are constantly interrupted by banging on the doors... read more
