Working at St. Mary’s is such a blessing. I worked for 35 years in the public schools. Our students are safe, loved and prayed over everyday. Loving teachers with a strong connection to their students. Teachers are well versed with their field of studies and always available for the students. St. Mary’s has been a gift for not only my children, but for our whole family. When we moved to Texas, we had no other family here, and no connections to a church or school. When our oldest was ready for school, we enrolled him at the school that was connected to the church we had been attending. I am a parent of three St. Mary’s students and am also blessed to teach here. We decided to enroll our children because we wanted them to have a different experience than what is offered at public school in terms of both academics and social dynamics. I also love that all of my children are at one campus K-12. I love that my kids learn about faith in connection to their studies, and I have truly seen them blossom under the classical curriculum that encourages them to think for themselves instead of focusing on state tests. SMCS is the best school I could send my children to. The teaching quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. The staff truly care and love each and every child. The support of the parents is exceptional. Truly a wonderful school and community to be a part of!

St. Mary's is a beautiful community where children learn to love learning. My children have lifelong friends whom they met at St. Mary's. The curriculum is rigorous, but the teachers are dedicated to helping students achieve. Each subject is taught with the Catholic worldview of the dignity of all human life and the truth that happiness comes only through Jesus Christ. We are all called to be His disciples.

I have loved St. Mary's in Taylor! My boyfriend has been teaching here for the past two years and I joined the staff as soon as I could! Primarily, I love how our school is truly Catholic and that the classical model molds our students into well-rounded students who can think for themselves. These students are ranked on if they are faithful, virtuous and thoughtful. They are not ranked on just their ability to test well or make all A's. I will ALWAYS support this school.

St. Mary's is a wonderful community where not only do the children grow in wisdom and virtue but the parents and community surrounding do as well. They are very diverse community covering over 20+ zip codes but also have a small town feel. The faculty and staff are true gems! You won't find another Catholic Classical school like this around the Austin area! St. Mary's Taylor has jumped with both feet into the great adventure of classical education. The teachers have passionately embraced classical education principals, from Socratic seminars to integrating the various "subjects" into one cohesive body of learning, all in reference to the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Keep it up St. Mary's faculty! You are climbing Everest!
