Paul Kazolias from Rainbow Roofing and Siding has mentioned to me that his son Nick from REI does slate. I have not seen his work but I will likely be contacting him in the Spring for some slate on my own roof. If you only need one or two slates replaced, the process is not that involved. If you need major work done then you really want someone who is definitely skilled at slate.
