Good food abs a great place to relax have a drink, an appetizer and dinner.
It’s a nice large restaurant with plenty of seating inside and out. The noise level is low and the staff is friendly and very competent. My only complaint is that there’s not much to choose from on the menu and what I had was overdone and not moist. I had a steak sandwich. It’s certainly not a terrible place. It’s just not spectacular.
Service was a bit slow, but the food and ambiance was great
The food is outstanding quality and a good portion. Just be aware of the items like the Lobster roll because it is charged at market price. Delicious and filling, but you pay what it's worth.
Great atmosphere, service. Unfortunately did not love the food. Burger was extremely salty and salmon was raw in the middle throughout the piece.

Have been there a few time. Everything was wonderful, the service, the food, the atmosphere. Will be back again. Worth the 40 min drive!

Excellent service and food. It's been a few years since we were last at the Tavern; pleasantly surprised at the quality, quantity and value of our meal. We definitely plan to return.
