We love this restaurant and the ambiance. It is charming and cozy. The menu has so many comfort food options which makes this the perfect place to dine!
We love going to the Marlborough Tavern. It was our 3rd time there. This last time, we were sat in the Garden Room. We weren’t thrilled as we love the old rustic charm & ambiance of the 1st two rooms. It was a quieter room with music, but it was a bit cold and didn’t like the lighting. We were very pleased with our Dining experience. Loved the atmosphere. The food was delicious, service was great, the price was surprisingly reasonable for the food and drinks we enjoyed.
We ordered the pretzel - excellent, the flat bread of the day - good, the calamari - flavorless, the turkey burger - fair, too small for the too soft bun, skip the "cranberry" mayo and black bean burger - same bun and flavorless. Our server was delightful and responsive - none of the food was her fault, nor could she have known. Very nice place to meet up with friends. Food was great! Atmosphere great! Loved the lit fireplace. Service was good.
It was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back!! Pot roast and chicken pot pie were good to very good; the hosts, wait staff, bartender, and ambience were outstanding! Great value! Next time will try the burgers, they looked delicious.
Excellent food and service! Just happened to be a night with a local band playing so made it a little noisy to talk but always a great atmosphere. I always love coming to the Marlborough Tavern.
Food was good. We had a good time. Wish we could’ve been near fire places.
We enjoyed our food-fried mozzarella and burgers, and the service was excellent. The main dining room was a bit noisy, but we liked the ambience, and loved sitting by the fireplace on a cold winter evening.
