All staff, from reception to tech to vet, were very welcoming to new puppy owner. I had a lot of questions and I never felt silly for asking any of them. The tech was so calming to me and reassured me that my puppy really was just doing normal puppy stuff. I called a few days after my puppy’s first appointment and was not rushed or shrugged off, was given encouraging words and reminded to call back with any other concern. Office was cheery and very clean.
They have been great with my 5 cats. My senior cat Willow is having urinary issues and they were so sweet and good to her. Highly recommend.
A gorgeous clinic with incredible staff that will have you questioning if you're on a TV show. The front desk is always friendly and quick to provide unmatched customer service while respecting your time. The techs are always incredibly friendly and attentive. They always do their best to get your pet in when they are sick. Staff is very understanding and takes time to listen to your pets problems. Very happy with the staff and would refer anyone to them. Thank you!
We are so grateful for Dr. Tangeman and the Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre staff for graciously taking care our sweet boy, Jack Frost! They immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable! They took such good care of our little puppy on very short notice. They were very thorough in their examination and helpful in guiding us in the steps to help our puppy feel better! I am so grateful for the time and care they put in to helping Jack!
We had the absolute best first visit with our pup. Every person was welcoming and excited to meet Jack Daniels. Dawn and Dr. Hemker were so respectful of Jack and answered all of my questions throughout the examination.
If I could rate them 10 out of 5 stars, I would. They are solely responsible for making sure my Bailey girl is still alive today. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful, but a few people stick out the most. Debbie, the front desk employee went out of her way to call the Vet at closing time Monday evening to do everything she could to get our dog there the next morning for a life saving procedure. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the staff here. Last night my 16 year old cat took a turn for the worst. After calling multiple places and shelters in the area, Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre helped us with no questions asked. Once we arrived, while waiting for a staff member to come out and get him from the car, my sweet General passed. They still took him inside, to confirm his passing.
