Insured for 20 years bundled car, home owners, and life insurance. Never filed a claim, had hail damage verified by a home inspector, insurance adjuster and several roofing companies. Had several pictures documenting the damage to shingles and vents. State Farm still denied the claim. They are the worst scammers in the insurance business their home owners insurance is a joke, so dissatisfied and disappointed in State Farm.

Garbage!!!!! filed for an insurance claim after I ended up in a ditch with my child from the city failing to treat a road after a snowstorm, one of those unfortunate events which ultimately lead to two additional vehicles shortly afterward, everyone was ok, however, took several days to get a tow truck and now its been several weeks, to get the insurance company to even bother to listen to the auto body technicians, who they're trying to low ball by only willing to pay for aftermarket parts (which the auto body shop would be... read more

Their claims department tells me one thing and tells the repair people something else. They told me car would be repaired but told the repair people it was totaled. They wasted my precious time in gobbledygook. I may lose my license because of them

State Farm insurance has acted in bad faith and has refused to honor our policy covering our vehicle which was totaled in a car accident in July.. It has been almost five months since the accident with no effort on their part to compensate us according to our policy.. State Farm Insurance should be avoided by anyone seeking to cover their vehicles or homes. Our vehicle was involved in a serious auto accident in July of this year. We have been with State Farm insurance for both our cars and houses for over 30 years. We recently made a claim for our house. We are over two months waiting for them to figure it out. They have switched the Agents 3 different times and none of the adjusters have contacted us to let us know where they were with the claim. The last person who was assigned to our case was rude and demeaning with us. We are senior citizens and have never been treated with such disrespect. I have been a State Farm for almost 15 years. First let me say, my agent is absolutely amazing. He is very kind and patient. However, my kitchen flooded on 10/23. I called to file a claim and after almost two weeks, a company came out to tear out floor and dry my subfloor. Now that the subfloor is dry, I have not heard anything from my claims adjuster or the service company. I have no stove and very limited way to prepare food. Feeding my family with microwavable items and fast food is not ideal and expensive. Currently I am... read more

I was insured by State Farm Insurance for several years (home owners, 3 vehicles, an RV). I never had a claim against them until this year. An ice dam formed on my roof during the winter and damaged the composite shingles. I filed a claim and they rejected it several times. Do not buy insurance from State Farm!!!

HORRIBLE. YOU HAVE TO CALL 100XS TO FOLLOWUP ON EVERYTHING ON YOUR CLAIM EVEN WHEN YOU'RE NOT AT FAULT. THERE IS NOT DIRECT CONTACT PERSON IT'S ALWAYS A DIFFERENT PERSON . THIS ISURANCE IS A NIGHTMARE!! I WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE ON THE COMING YEAR.
