The best decision I ever made! Outstanding dance instruction across many types of dance including ballet, modern, jazz and tap. Performances are truely professional. This is not your typical neighborhood dance school. Children are encouraged to take their dance skills to the next level and are also encouraged to participate in community service projects.
Profession, Dedicated I feel so lucky that my girls are part of this fabulous dance community. Apart from the professional and wonderful dance training and performances, it has prepared them for life experiences including responsibility, dedication, time management, loyalty, friendship, commitment and poise.
Meh The facility is a dump! The co-owner and director , Mrs. Logrea, obviously could care less about the student and their family's experience and made no effort throughout the entire school year to ever say hello much less strike up a conversation as she pased through the lobby to her office each week. The lobby is so crowded that parents often have to stand, the parking is TERRIBLE with one spot reserved for Mrs. Logrea with an obnoxious sigh declaring her space. LDA poor training, cold atmosphere As a former professional dancer, I was disappointed by the Logrea Dance Academy. The atmosphere is cold, and although it is a large operation, it seems to exist mostly to feed talent into their associated Westchester Ballet Company and to send students to company schools in New York.
