On recommendation of a friend, who's daughter does not dance, we gave it a try for our girl at Logrea Dance Academy. We are very pleased to have found an outstanding dance school in the tri state area. Their staff, starting at the front desk up to Mr. and Mrs. Logrea are very professional and knowledgeable. The academy's emphasis is on classical ballet, but it also offers tap, jazz, hip hop or modern. We can highly recommend Logrea Dance Academy.
Logrea Dance Academy is the epitome of professional training, yet also appropriate and user friendly for dancers not seeking the professional route. Students have support from a devout teaching, clerical and medical staff. My daughter has been dancing with Logrea for 7 years and she considers Logrea her second home. There are a lot of reasons that Logrea Dance Academy was awarded Best of Westchester! The staff is professional and highly qualified in all dance disciplines. The emphasis is on traditional, classic training, but the Academy is very current in all styles of dance. I'm so glad that I don't have to take my children to NYC for the best training, but can find it right in Ossining.
Teaching mostly classical Russian style, the Logrea Dance Studio excels in ballet instruction in Westchester County. My daughter has been attending classes there for 4 years, and is getting great instruction. Also, the Logrea Dance school partners with the Westchester Ballet company, which has the best Nutcracker performance around, with over one hundred parts for student dancers. Outstanding dance instruction across many types of dance including ballet, modern, jazz and tap. Performances are truely professional. This is not your typical neighborhood dance school. Children are encouraged to take their dance skills to the next level and are also encouraged to participate in community service projects.
I feel so lucky that my girls are part of this fabulous dance community. Apart from the professional and wonderful dance training and performances, it has prepared them for life experiences including responsibility, dedication, time management, loyalty, friendship, commitment and poise.
