RecommendedMy dog got a fishing hook stuck in his leg a couple of weekends ago and developed an infection. Lake Wissota Animal Hospital was able to get me in the same day I called. MJ was so nice and great with our guy, Moose, who is an 80 lb, hyper, 1-year-old black lab! While we were there, they also discovered he had a yeast infection in both of his ears likely from swimming and getting moisture inside of them. Dr. Tallman is top notch- She really cares about animals and it shows. Dr. Tallman made the unbearable (putting our beloved dog to sleep) actually somewhat bearable. We received the most heart felt card that was handwritten from both Dr. Tallman and Dr. Swanson after our dog was put to sleep. It meant so much. Love the new facility- best vet a person could ask for!
We are so happy to have found a WONDERFUL vet in the area and close to home. All the staff here are so helpful and caring. Our two girls are handfuls when they go out anywhere (just so excited to leave the house) and the staff there didn’t mind at all! They were patient and understanding. This is amazing place to let the girls take care of your animals and boarding is great too!!!
My fur-kiddo is most affectionate to humans, but not trustworthy around other animals. He loves visiting the Vet but it is a nightmare for me as I get concerned about crossing paths with other animals. I have had two visits here as a new Vet for us and the staff has been amazing - patient, understanding, accommodating and very careful. They don't judge me for my kids issues and my wanting to be very careful! Their great incredible care for him is amazing. Very impressed!

Me and my dog Tikaani showed up with him having a UTI, and LWAH accepted my dog as a new patient during the pandemic when no other clinic would see us. Dr Tallman saw us the very same day. I was super happy with how friendly and helpful the staff has always been. We have been back several times and have been happy with every visit. My dog actually gets excited when we pull up in your parking lot. He loves you guys and we won't be going to any other clinic as long as he lives 😀

I have taken my pup to Lake Wissota Vet for over 6 years. They treated Tucker extremely well. Tucker had a lot of medical issues and it came time to have him go to doggy heaven. I had this done on June 19, 2020 and it was a very hard day for me and still is and always will be. On June 25, 2020 I received a very special sympathy note from Tuckers Dr.’s with a lock of Tuckers hair. It was the most thoughtful gesture I have received and I cried like a baby when I saw that.
