A pleasant surprise After a hideous culinary experince in a nearby establishment the previous evening, we decided to give this town one more chance and wandered into Dixie's Diner for breakfast. The 50's decor and setup was an immediate hit with the kids (my kids had never seen a juke box before!) and the welcome from the staff only reinforced the initial impressions....
Did not Dissappoint Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn the night before. Party of 6 for Lunch at Dixie's Diner on July 5th. It is a real busy place. Great Selection of Food. Large portions and fair prices. Great Service. Food was average to above average. My family was satisfied.
Great food, choices, service Party of 6 all ordered something different with meat. Generous portions, meat cooked perfectly to order, tasty. They say the meat is never frozen and it tasted that way. I really like the aloha chicken sandwich which was juicy and delish. Fries were dangerously yummy. Service was friendly and timely. Menu had plenty of veggie options that looked great too....
Family friendly I liked this dinner because it was super family friendly. the food was good and well priced. I would not go here if you are watching calories, there is very few options for the calorie conscious and the deserts look just too good to pass.
Good Diner We go here every so often. Good breakfast, yummy shakes, great for that nostalgic feeling. We enjoy the decor and the food is ok. Good value for your money.
Good food, great service We had breakfest around 1pmish-they have a great cheap menu with smaller portions, but seemed regular sized to me and it was quite good-coffee not so great-service was excellent-we will return.
Great place We went to Dixie's on Halloween and took our little girl. The waitress staff were all dressed up for the holiday and were very friendly. The burgers are fresh, fire grilled and made to order (medium, well done) and they are absolutely delicious! Great family restaurant We always go to Dixie's Diner when we visit family in Idaho Falls, which is several times a year. It's kid friendly, and the food and service are great. Try it.
