On Wednesday March 24th 2021, I called in to Abe's towing to ask how much a very very simple tow would cost to pull me off a curb maybe 8 feet, because my car would not go into reverse. I was told $50, which all the other towing companies told me about the same price. Well when they got to motel 6 I was given some lame excuse that it would cost $150 and if I didn't pay it they would charge me $50 for calling them out there. I was in need of a tow. Called this establishment and was told the fee would he $450 paid up front before their truck would even leave their lot without them even knowing any of the details Was also told that they would not respond after 4 p.m.. I had been warned about their unreasonable fees and poor customer service but now I know first hand.
just another backwoods scam artist charging a young woman triple to unhook after an accident if you have a choice definitely choose better
if you would have took $425 dollars to abes, you could have had any vehicle that abes towed in as long as you had the tag number. only thing the guy was worried about was my money that had to be cash, no cards for some reason. he didnt care about me proving my truck was mine, gave no care about seeing the registration. just hope your vehicle never needs to be towed by abes.
They fixed my husband's truck, we got a quote. I go to pick it up it was almost 3x as much as quoted! I told the lady at front desk this and all she said was, "well heres the receipt" and went to point out everything on the receipt. I don't care what's on the receipt, we shouldn't have paid a dime over the price we agreed upon. I let everyone know about our experience here with the lack of professionalism and communication. Ridiculous.
