We had a reserved table for a party of 10, food was decent..but the service we had from our waitress was just bad overall. She seemed very annoyed and impatient with all of us. (We also asked for two high chairs, and just ended up getting them ourselves). Even after we had gotten our food, she never once checked back up on us. We ended up having somebody else help us get more napkins. Which is sad because there weren’t many people left either, and she seemed occupied doing other things instead of checking up on all of us. We love the Rite Place! They've got good, authentic food at decent prices (most of the time). I love that they have Sprecher on tap! The Brat Sandwich is delicious and their krinkle cut fries (not typically my favorite) are also good. The quality of service varies depending on the time of day, but generally people are friendly. Their daily specials are usually a pretty good deal.

We were one of the first people to arrive for a large group funeral luncheon and asked where we were to sit. A manager in the bar area very RUDELY said we would be in a back room, but we wouldn't be allowed to go in there because the organizers of the luncheon never told them how many people were coming. She acted like it was our fault. My 90 and 91 year old parents asked if they could sit down in the area where the luncheon was and we we told NO! They would have to sit in the bar area and wait for the rest of the funeral ... read more

Went to an early dinner on Sunday ( glad we did because it was getting busy as we were leaving). Most got the broasted chicken. Very happy with the food. Good value for the amount of tasty food. Good cocktails and beer menu. Service was good but a little spotty at times. TVs were all playing the NCAA tournament. I liked it but it was a little loud for others in the group. All in all very happy with the visit. I would love to check out their fish fry sometime.

You are probably reading this review to see if you’d like this place. You WILL, just go there and see. This place has been here for a long time and is family owned and it shows in the overall experience. Great food - pick anything and you’ll be smiling and satisfied. Great people are employed there and there’s plenty of places to sit with a group of any size. I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s hungry and wants to eat a meal that makes them happy.
