Paid for an hour of parking & had to pay for more due to the slow service. Then out food was lukewarm. Don’t plan on going back anytime soon.
Not sure about this place. Rope vieja was tough cubed stew meat instead of soft shredded steak - first time in my life I had to use a knife to eat Rope Vieja. Our street tacos arrived missing a salsa we ordered, and oddly came with cheese, from England. Ordered the "mango salad", which had no mango in it. Tres leches cake was dry! Menu lacked the traditional plantain, mango and papaya. I grew up eating and cooking Caribbean food - I think this place may appeal to American tastes that don't know what Caribbean food is.
Two weeks ago everything was amazing from our server to our delicious dinner To the point where I told everyone about it. I decided to take my wife on a date there tonight but everything fell flat. Food was undercooked so we sent it back but that rewarded us with no seasoning on the shrimp and the scallops were burnt. This was a huge disappointment to the point we may not be back for a while
Had a reservation still waited an hour and a half. Do not recommend.
It was my first time there and I was very impressed! The atmosphere and food were great! I asked for mine to be made mild. It was perfect. I had a creamy sauce with shrimp and vegetables. I would highly recommend!
Fourth time there. Food has always been unique and excellent. THis time the service was abysmal. They lost our order somewhere. Then the waitress blamed it on not putting a hold on others behind us. What the hell does that mean. Nearly two hours for an appetizer and entree. She kept saying it coming right out, then she brought salads. I wont be back. She knew we were mad. The best she could offer was a free desert. Like I wanted to be there two and a half hours.
Waited 43 minutes before leaving our order for the kids tacos and a pizza when there were only 4 other people in the entire place. Also when ordering a soda, we waited more than 5 minutes. Poor to say the least. Won't be back
