I have been coming to Open Water Medical through the VA’s Community Care Network since 2019. The care that I receive here is OUTSTANDING! Starting with the front desk personnel, Nikki and Lindy always have a great attitude, patient with your future scheduling and last minute cancellations, and they are on point with calling and reminding you of your appointments. Love this office and everyone in it. You are treated like family and get greeted by name when you walk in the door. Going to the doctor is not a chore intimidating or stressful. The staff is very professional knowledgeable and extremely thorough. I don’t dread my appointments anymore thanks to the warm family environment. Great job guys each and everyone in the Morehead office.
I have been going to OWM in Morehead for years and absolutely love Jack and Lynda. They are always have an open ear and very friendly. I went today and the front desk staff changed and not for the better. No welcoming smiles, no hello how are you today…. Nothing! She just asked me to pay my deductible and have a seat. Bring back the other front desk ladies!
We live aboard boat full time n are Transientw no vehicle so very tough to even get into doctor office for a visit. In Beaufort for ~ 2 months for winter so went for medical exam to extend BP prescription. Did blood test n charged me $100 plus charges to Medicare but provided ONLY 1 refill. Phoned office 4X over 2 week period to try to get additional refills but did not get one single call back n, on 4th call, they finally said doc refused any more refills.
The front desk (Ms. Lindy) is always kind and easy to work with. Ms. Erika is always amazing when it comes to labs. She is quick and very good at distracting. Ms. Terri is always kind. Ms. Kayla is always quick when getting vitals and she is kind as well. I love the staff at Open Water Medical in Morehead City.
