Behavioral Health: Alexander Olsen is fantastic! He listens to my concerns and works WITH me to manage my health. Absolutely great! _________________ General Care: On another separate note, I have attempted 3 different times to get a certain medication for my chronic headaches. The first 2 times I got the wrong medication. I called yesterday to get it sorted and I'm still waiting for the correct medicine to be sent to the pharmacy. Very attentive and caring.
There is one specific nurse at the East Chicago location. She is truly awful, no empathy, often doesn't even look at you in the face or in the eyes, walks extremely slow, seems constantly angry and / or aggravated. I told the NP about it, and she still allowed her to draw blood during which time she didn't speak to me, and left the tourniquet on while drawing. The receptionist was not at the desk upon arrival. There were 2 others who worked for NSHC that looked at me like I was robbing the place. I stated “Hello, I’m here for a 3pm appt”. I arrived at 2:55 the other workers then stated she’ll be here to check you in. The receptionist finally arrives I checked in she proceeds to go back to the nurses station to finish her conversation where I heard how she is getting at neck tattoo(something I shouldn’t have to hear).
