Losing a parent has got to be one of the most difficult things to deal with and the funeral representatives at Maberry Funeral Home did a great job helping myself and my family feel as little pain as possible given the situation
My funeral representative was very courteous and respectful. She helped me with the arrangements for my husband and set up prepaid funerals for my sons
If I could give this place a negative one star I would. The owner (Missy) was very unprofessional and made inappropriate comments. She even went so far at the funeral when she said everyone say your last goodbyes, to tell me (the daughter) I needed to sit down, and I should have been there earlier. I was there an hour plus before the funeral and it was 15 min. before the start of the funeral. This is a family-owned business and her dad who is passed would be very disappointed by her behavior. Our family laid our grandfather to rest on 6/30/23. We made the HORRIBLE mistake by trusting Maberry Funeral home in Floyd, VA to treat our grieving family with respect, empathy, and professionalism during this difficult time.
